The plunger ejector member (12) has a proximal cap (32) atop and connected to a split stem portion (34) having outer legs (36) with shoulder stop extensions (38); an inner ribbon spring leg (40) having a distal end (42) inserted into a spring engaging structure (20) in the assembled device; and a solid rectangular distal portion (46).</p>
