PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power breaker capable of avoiding enlargement of an electromagnet even if breaking capacity of an operation device becomes large. SOLUTION: The power breaker utilizes power generated at the electromagnets 201, 202 for an opening/closing operation of a contact having a fixed contact and a movable contact through a cam and a link mechanism. The electromagnet has plungers 211, 212 capable of linear movement, and a movable iron core 205 mounted on the plungers. Metallic first and second fixed iron cores 203, 204 are arranged beside the movable iron core.
