ATTITUDE CONTROL MECHANISM AND IMAGING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum attitude control mechanism for a lens barrel which is gimballed. SOLUTION: The attitude control mechanism 1 is equipped with a gimballing mechanism 2 supporting the lens barrel 10 so as to rotate with the predetermined center of rotation Q as center, and a first-direction actuator 3a and a second-direction actuator 3b giving rocking force to the lens barrel 10. The first-direction actuator 3a rocks the lens barrel 10 along a first plane S1 passing through the center of rotation Q, and the second-direction actuator 3b rocks the lens barrel 10 along a second plane S2 passing through the center of rotation Q and orthogonal to the first plane S1.
