PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more precise technique for setting three-dimensional object images and video to an orthogonal projection image since the images are distorted by distance, lens distortion, or the like when an object is projected because a camera performs center projection, and since improved precision cannot be expected because an object is three-dimensional although there is a method for calculating the distortion of each lens itself for setting to an orthogonal projection image by correction as a conventional method for setting the image and video of a three-dimensional object to orthogonal projection images by a single photograph. SOLUTION: First, laser beams are projected onto a plane in parallel with a camera axis and the position relationship is measured. Then, an object is placed, laser beams are projected to an object in parallel with the camera axis and are photographed by a camera in parallel from the same direction, and the position relationship of points and lines in the laser beams being displayed is measured. The reference point and the reference line can accurately project an object in a mesh even if the object is deformed in any way for measurement by parallel laser beams, thus matching the latter reference point and reference line to the former and hence setting the object to be an accurate orthogonal projection image.
