PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discharge of ash or the like by preventing welding of the ash or slag of a matter to be burnt to a rooster. SOLUTION: This stepped stoker fired furnace 1 comprises the rooster 2 formed in a stepped shape so as to successively transferring the matter to be burnt with burning and a pusher 3 provided in the rear of each step of the rooster 2 so as to be capable of protruding and retreating to retractably push and move the matter to be burnt to the lower step.
