PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting member capable of properly supporting a plate while absorbing the difference between the plate and its supporting position. SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 23 inserted and fitted to a U-shaped notch part 16 formed on an engine cover 11 as the plate, is formed on the supporting member 21, and an elastically deformable projecting part 27 is formed on an outer peripheral face of the cylindrical part 23.
