PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve fuel economy by ingeniously combining idle stop prohibition control and power generation suppression control, in an idle stop vehicle. SOLUTION: This control device for the idle stop vehicle is provided with a power generator 2 driven by an engine 1 and to supply power to a battery 3 and an electrical load 4, and automatically stops the engine 1 when a predetermined engine automatic stop condition is achieved. The control device for the idle stop vehicle is provided with electric current integrated value detection means 5, 6, 7 for detecting a charge and discharge current integrated value ΣI of the battery 3; a power generation suppression control means 5 for suppressing power generation operation of the power generator 2 in a predetermined condition and for prohibiting suppression of power generation operation when the integrated value ΣI detected by the electric current integrated value detection means 5, 6, 7 is above a first predetermined value 0 and below a third predetermined value αAh in a discharge side; and an automatic stop control means 5 for prohibiting automatic stop of the engine 1, when the integrated value ΣI detected by the electric current integrated value detection means 5, 6, 7 is above a second predetermined value (discharge amount, for example a value corresponding to βAh) in the discharge side from the first predetermined value, even if the engine automatic stop condition is achieved.
