<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable starch container provided with sterilizing and deodorant functions, long shelf-life, mold-release, and sufficient waterproof characteristics and with reinforced strength, and its production method. <P>SOLUTION: This biodegradable starch container is made of a composite comprising 20-60 wt.% non-denaturing starch, 5-30 wt.% pulp fiber powder, 30-60 wt.% solvent, 0.1-2.0 wt.% photocatalyst, 0.01-1.0 wt.% preservative and 0.5-5.0 wt.% releasing agent, and is formed in a desired shape by heating and pressurizing the composite. A biodegradable film is attached to the inside face of the container. The production method of the container comprises: the step S1 for preparing the composite; the step S2 for forming the container in a desired shape by heating and pressurizing the composite; the step S3 for heating and softening the film; and the step S4 for closely attaching the film to the inside surface of the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
