<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin, capable of suppressing the generation of acetaldehyde and the soiling of a metal mold on its molding since it is possible to mold without damaging its transparency even on using its molding temperature lower than that of the conventional process, also obtaining a molded product excellent in transparency and especially suitable for molding of a bottle used for food or beverage. <P>SOLUTION: This polyester resin produced by performing a polycondensation through an esterification or ester interchange reaction of a dicarboxylic acid component consisting mainly of terephthalic acid or its ester-forming derivative with a diol component consisting mainly of ethylene glycol is provided by exhibiting≤50% haze of a molded material produced by an injection molding at 270°C measured at 5 mm thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
