PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device for reproducing a disk in which copyright protection information is physically recorded which can transmit the copyright protection information to a decoding section while securing its secrecy with an easy designing even in a configuration in which a driving section and the decoding section are separated from each other. SOLUTION: A front-end processor 6 decodes a reproduced analog EFM signal 5 or the like generated by an RF amplifier 4 as the encrypted data of a sector unit, and generates an EFM clock 7. An A/D converter 8 converts the reproduced analog EFM signal 5 generated by the RF amplifier 4 into multibit digital data as instructed by a decoding section 13 in synchronization with the EFM clock 7. An I/F controller 11 controls a digital interface 12 for transmitting a decoded output from the front-end processor 6 and the multivalue digitized reproduced analog EFM signal 10 to the decoder section 18.
