PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component wrapper which has an antistatic function even at the time of peeling off a cover tape. SOLUTION: The electronic component wrapper is formed of a carrier tape having a recess for storing a component therein, and the cover tape bonded to a surface of the carrier tape, in which the recess of the carrier tape is formed, so as to cover the recess. Herein the carrier tape and the cover tape have heat seal surfaces which are arranged so as to be opposed to each other, and the heat seal surface of each of the carrier tape and the cover tape has a conductive layer containing a conductive material similar in chemical composition to its counterpart, or has a conductive layer containing a conductive material and a binder similar in chemical composition to their counterparts.
