PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device of a transfer for a four-wheel drive realizing reduction of cost, reduction of mass and enhancement of in-vehicle mountability mounting property while it is provided with a mechanism capable of accurately positioning a fork. SOLUTION: In such a state that 2-4 fork shaft 110 is stopped at 2WD position being one end in a movable range and 2-4 switching shift fork 130 forms two-wheel drive (2WD), when H-L switching shift fork 140 is operated from H mode (H) to neutral mode (N), a lock pin 151 is abutted on the other end side of a second groove 121 to thereby accurately stop the H-L switching shift fork 140 at the neutral mode (N) position.
