PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire fitting transponder mounting method capable of freely mounting a transponder even to an existing tire, and provide a transponder fitted tire. SOLUTION: The transponder 1 is mounted on a fitting part 1C formed of a metallic plate, and the fitting part 1C is welded to a rim 32 to easily fit the transponder 1 to an existing tire, and the electric-grounding condition of the transponder 1 is improved. In addition, separation troubles or the like of the tire may not possibly occur, the environmental condition when manufacturing the tire need not be considered in the durability condition of the transponder, and occurrence of troubles of the transponder itself can be considerably reduced.
