PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-coated cemented carbide cutting tool having a lubrication-coated layer exhibiting superior abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This lubrication-coated layer is deposited and formed on a surface of a base body composed of WC group cemented carbide or a TiCN group cermet, and is composed of chrome nitride layer having the average layer thickness of 1 to 15μm, for indicating an inclination angle frequency distribution graph where the highest peak exists in an inclination division in a range of 3 to 15 degrees and the total of the frequency existing in the range of 3 to 15 degrees occupies a rate of 45 to 65 % of the whole frequency in the inclination angle frequency distribution graph, in the inclination angle frequency distribution graph formed by classifying and totalizing a measured inclination angle falling within a range of 0 to 45 degrees with respective pitches of 0.25 degree among the measuring inclination angle, by measuring an inclination angle formed by a normal of ä111} surface being a crystal surface of a crystal grain to a normal of a surface polishing surface, by individually irradiating with electron beams the crystal grain having a cubic system crystal lattice existing in a measuring range of the surface polishing surface, by using a field emission type scanning electron microscope.
