The present invention relates to a cytochrome P450 enzyme (CYP105P2) with function of introducing hydroxy groups into aromatic ring compounds, a gene encoding the enzyme, a recombination vector containing the gene, a microorganism transformed with the recombination vector and a method for introducing hydroxy groups into aromatic ring compounds, the method being characterized by using the enzyme or the transformed microorganism. The CYP 105P2 enzyme according to the present invention is useful in preparing hydroxy group-introduced aromatic ring compound for enzymatic ability to introduce hydroxy group into aromatic ring compound, especially, to introduce pentahydroxy group into benzene ring compound.
