<p>Natural gas liquefaction system employing a turboexpander to convert excess pressure within a predominantly methane stream into work useable in another location within the liquefaction system. Primarily, the turboexpander is used to compress a refrigerant used in at least one of the refrigeration cycles within the liquefaction system.</p>
