A seal structure of a sliding part, comprising a shaft (11), a member (10) having a shaft hole (10a) in which the shaft (11) is inserted slidably relative to each other, and a first packing (P1) and a second packing (P2) disposed in series between the shaft (11) and the shaft hole (10a) in the order of decreasing pressure. The first packing (P1) comprises a seal member (22) sealing a clearance between the shaft (11) and the shaft hole (10a) and a backup ring (25) disposed on a part of the packing on the side where the seal member (22) is brought into contact with the sliding surface of the shaft (11) or the shaft hole (10a). The seal member (22) and the backup ring (25) are formed integrally with each other so that they cannot be separated from each other.
