PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an electronic apparatus in which different functions are assigned to operational inputs performed on an operational means, according to an operational mode. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with the operational means 10 permitting the plurality of kinds of operational inputs; an operational mode selection means 20 for selecting one of the plurality of operational modes; and a function assignment means 20 for assigning a first function to the operational input when the operational mode selection means selects a first operational mode and for assigning a second function to the operational input when the operational mode selection means selects a second operational mode. The operational mode selection means 20 selects the first operational mode when the operational input is performed for the operational means in the state in which the operational mode is not selected, and maintains the second operational mode when the operational input in which the second function is not assigned is performed in the second operational mode.
