PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten movement time and to reduce rapid speed increase/reduction of the mobile body of a machine tool etc. when moving the mobile body to a prescribed position while making the mobile body pass a direction change point set in order to avoid interference with other members during the movement. SOLUTION: When moving the mobile body of the machine tool by biaxial control using two driving device and when direction change at least one point is required, one driving device gently increases/reduces the mobile body at increasing/reducing speed equal to or below its maximum increasing/reducing speed from a time when the mobile body reaches the direction change point. In addition, gentle speed increase/reduction is continuously performed for over the whole of drive time of the other driving device after the direction change point. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
