PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket material of low manufacturing cost, its manufacturing method and a mounting method of the inexpensive gasket of high sealing performance, improved in workability in mounting while preventing the deformation in being mounted on a sealed part. SOLUTION: The elastic gasket composed of a thermoplastic elastomer is injection-molded on one face of a resin film free from surface mold-releasing treatment, and the resin film is fixed under a condition where the resin film is not fusion-bonded to the gasket to prepare the gasket material capable of easily separating the gasket from the resin film. An exposed face of the elastic gasket is fixed to the sealed part, and then the resin film is separated from the elastic gasket, or the gasket is held by a fixing jig, the exposed face of the gasket is positioned and fixed on the sealed part in a state that a supporting film is separated, and then the fixing jig is removed to easily mount the gasket of high sealing performance on the sealed part.
