PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of output values from a throttle opening sensor related to the opening of the throttle of a throttle valve by compensating the setting of the throttle valve to a fully closed position or a fully open position. SOLUTION: When a sensor output voltage SV from the throttle opening sensor is within a range between an upper limit voltage SVo-H and a lower limit voltage SVo-L for the fully open position o of the throttle valve, it is taken in as an output value for the fully open position o, and when it is within a range between an upper limit voltage SVs-H and a lower limit voltage SVs-L for the fully closed position s, it is taken in as an output value for the fully closed position s. Accordingly, the settings of the throttle valve to the fully open position o and the fully closed position s can be compensated when the sensor output voltage SV is taken in.
