PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fuel pump suitable for the usage on the sea whereby generation of calcium on a winding of a motor part and generation of rust can be prevented even when fuel including seawater is sucked into a pump part. SOLUTION: In this electric fuel pump, the pump part P is arranged on an end of a housing 1, a delivery part T is arranged on the other end, and the motor part M is arranged in an intermediate part. The fuel delivered from the pump part P passes through an outer periphery of the motor part M in the housing 1, and is delivered through a delivery passage 13. In the motor part M, the winding 7 is wound around a stator 6, and a rotor 10 formed by a yoke 11 and a magnet 12 is attached on a rotary shaft 8 rotating and driving the pump part P. Rustproof treatment such as plating or resin molding is applied to the yoke 11 and the magnet 12, and resin molding is applied to the winding 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
