PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a fishing rod, capable of effectively preventing a strange sound from being made by a platelike reel sheet. SOLUTION: A sound-making preventive material 4 is interposed between the platelike reel sheet 1 and a bottom rod 3, wherein the platelike reel sheet 1 is fastened to a prescribed area of the bottom rod 3 by being wound around with an adhesively fastening resin tape 2, so that the strange sound is prevented from being made from a mounting part of the platelike reel sheet 1 on the bottom rod 3.
