The unit has an input shaft designed as a rotor (1), which is connected to a steering snail as a stator (2) using a torsion unit . The torsion unit consists of number of same or combination of different flat springs (3), which are led transverse to a rotational axis of the rotor. A continuously rotatable ring (5) is transformed into recesses (7) of the stator after adjustment of a hydraulic center position.
