NON-CONTACT TYPE TERMINAL AND READER/WRITER

A non-contact type terminal includes a power measurement unit (18) for measuring a radio wave received by antenna elements (11-13); and an antenna element selection unit (19) for comparing the power of each of the radio waves measured by the power measurement unit (18) and selecting the antenna element which receives the radio wave of the maximum power. By using the antenna element selected by the antenna element selection unit (19), a radio wave is transmitted/received to/from a reader/writer (2).
