PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein projector adjustment conventionally takes time, since each of matching adjustment for matching a projected image with a projected object such as a screen (size adjustment and trapezoid distortion correction), focus adjustment, and color adjustment is performed separately when a test pattern image is projected for each adjustment, because each test pattern image must be switched and projected for each adjustment. SOLUTION: A test pattern image TP for adjustment comprises a test pattern image for color adjustment CP, the fringe of the test pattern image for color adjustment CP, and a test pattern image FP for focus adjustment. The fringe of the test pattern image for color adjustment CP functions as a test pattern for matching a projected image with a projected object such as a screen (size adjustment and trapezoid distortion correction).
