PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network repeater a plurality of which are used for constructing a network which easily sets filtering rules. SOLUTION: The network repeater is constituted as an apparatus for performing processes for: judging which network repeater each of the filtering rules should be set into on the basis of a transmitter's address or the like in each of the filtering rule and address information on a network connected (S102); setting actually each of the filtering rules which are judged to be set in a self-device into the self-device (S103, S104); and setting each of the filtering rules judged to be set in other devices into the other devices (S105, S106).
