PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-contacting device, in which the inclination of a press-contacting head can be adjusted easily with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The press-contacting device 100 is provided with a placing base 36 on which a liquid crystal panel 10 is placed, a vertically moving member 40 which is installed vertically movably with respect to the placing base 36, and the press-contacting head 50 having a contact surface 52, having a width and length which can come into contact with the upper surface of an anisotropic conductive adhesive film 20. The device 100 is also provided with a first adjusting mechanism 120 which holds the press-contacting head 50, in a state where the contact surface 52 can be swung and adjusted in the widthwise direction of the surface 52, while the surface 52 is directed toward the placing base 36; and a second adjusting mechanism 140 which is attached to the vertically moving member 40 and supports the first adjusting mechanism 120, in a state where the mechanism 120 can be swung and adjusted in the lengthwise direction of the contact surface 52 while the surface 52 is directed toward the placing base 36.
