PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment technique capable of realizing activation of water in a water supply and service pipe obtaining a cheap and a permanent effects, and prevention of scale deposition which widely becomes a problem using a material normally used in water treatment without using chemicals. SOLUTION: The subject water activation treatment method employs a filter formed of filtration media consisting mainly of a synthetic polymer substance with a blocking hole diameter of at least 0.2μm or smaller and fractional molecular weight of 100,000,000 or smaller, structured so as to form a path during filtration practically bent, to treat water at a filtration flow rate of 50 L/m<SP>2</SP>/hr or faster. It is preferable to constitute the main part of the filtration media only with the synthetic polymer substance. The apparatus can be utilized by assembling these means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
