<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a status information display method and a status information display system capable of displaying each user's activities concerning a task. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a search formula from a user input/output part 6, an editing part 7 sends data requested by the search formula to either a database part 4 or an external information input part 5 depending on whether or not the data are the same type as data stored in the database part 4. When receiving from the database part 4 or the external information input part 5 the data based on the search formula sent, the editing part 7 processes the data received and sends the processed data to the user input/output part 6 as task status information.
