<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the whole composition of hardware and adequately transmit data, which are read by a portable terminal from an RFID tag, to an external device from the portable terminal via a table. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal system 1 is provided with an RFID part 55, which can communicate with the RFID part 37 of a portable terminal 2, in a table 4. When the portable terminal 2 which reads data from an RF tag 7 is mounted on the table 4, the RFID part 37 communicates with the RFID part 55, and consequently the data read from the RFID tag to the portable terminal 2 is transmitted to the table 4 from the portable terminal 2, and then the data transmitted from the portable terminal 2 to the table 4 is transmitted to a host computer 8 from the table 4. In the portable terminal 2, an interface can be shared for reading the data from the RFID tag 7 and for transmitting the data read from the RFID tag 7 the table 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
