PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm wheel of high durability and an electric power steering device using the same. SOLUTION: This worm wheel comprises an annular metallic core part 40 and a resin rim part 50 fitted to an outer periphery of the core part 40. The rim part 50 includes an annular main body part 52 covering the outer periphery 40a of the core part 40 and having a tooth part 51 on its outer periphery, and a pair of annular flanges 53, 54 respectively covering outer edge parts 43a, 64a of first and second side faces 43, 64 of the core part 40 extended to the radial inner part X from the main body part 52. The first annular flange 53 is engaged with a recessed part 44 formed on a side face 43 corresponding to the core part 40, and a bottom part of the recessed part 44 includes an undercut part with respect to a radial outer part Y.
