PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed electric compressor, wherein the vibration of a stator due to torque fluctuation in a brushless motor for enclosed electric compressors is suppressed and noise is reduced. SOLUTION: A rotor constitutes a concentrated winding brushless motor for use in an enclosed electric compressor. The radius of curvature of the curved surface of the rotor is made larger than the reference radius. The air gap on the curved surface is varied to reduce rapid change in magnetic flux. Thus, the range of fluctuations in torque (torque ripples) produced due to change in magnetic flux is narrowed. As a result, vibration in the stator due to torque ripples is reduced, and a low-noise enclosed electric compressor is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
