PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of an engine, transferring a sufficient quantity of fuel from a sub-storage chamber to a main storage chamber and saving the trouble for air extruding work. SOLUTION: This fuel supply device 11 sucks fuel in a fuel tank 12 having the main storage chamber 15 and the sub-storage chamber 16 and supplies the fuel to the engine 13 by a supply pump 18 through a supply passage 17. The fuel supply device 11 includes a motor-driven transfer system having a motor-driven pump 19 for transferring the fuel in the sub-storage chamber 16 to the main storage chamber 15 and a selector valve 33. The fuel supply device 11 is switched between the transfer state and the force-feed state by the selector valve 33. In the transfer state, the fuel in the sub-storage chamber 16 is transferred to the main storage chamber 15 by the motor-driven pump 19. In the force-feed state, the fuel in the main storage chamber 15 is force-fed to the supply passage 17 through the motor-driven pump 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
