PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold base board generating no clearance at the side edge of scaffold boards and excellent in working safety. SOLUTION: A roughly U-shaped fixing metal fitting 3 fixed to an engaging clamp Ba of a scaffold board B is pivoted to be freely rotatable in the lower end part of both end side faces 2a of the baseboard body 2. A hooking metal fitting 4 fixedly hooking on a pier stud Ab of a frame A is provided in the upper end of the both ends of the baseboard body 2. When mounting the base board body 1, the roughly U-shaped fixing metal fitting 3 of the baseboard body 2 is fixed to the engaging clamp Ba of the scaffold board B and the baseboard body 2 is erected so as to bring the lower end edge of the baseboard body 2 into contact with the upper face of the scaffold board B.
