PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater utilization system for filtering and storing rainwater falling on a building roof, a yard, or the like by utilizing a lawn as a natural filtering material, and recycling the filtered clean water as reclaimed water for a flush toilet and circulating water to prevent putrefaction. SOLUTION: The roof 4 of a building 1 is provided with an upper water storage tank 5, on which a second upper filter layer 10 is formed spreading sand and stones, and an upper sprinkling pipe 18 is piped therein. A first upper filter layer 16 with the lawn 14 spread is formed in the upper layer, and rainwater 9 in the upper water storage tank 5 is used as reclaimed water for the flush toilet 2. Further, an underground water storage tank 35 is provided in the ground of a parking garage 34, and a pump 37 is provided for supplying the rainwater 9 to the upper sprinkling pipe 18 through a return pipe 39. An overflow pipe 40 provided at the upper water storage tank 5 is connected to the underground water storage tank 35, and the rainwater 9 falling on the roof is circulated between the underground water storage tank 35 and the upper filter layer 5 and filtered.
