PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of an instrument panel with a console box capable of using a bottom end of the instrument panel to prevent diffusion of light to illuminate an upper wall of the console box. SOLUTION: A swollen wall 504 is curved at a center panel 5 of an instrument panel 2, a front side riser part 301 of a console box 3 is inserted in a downward opening 8 formed in a bottom end b thereof, a lamp 13 is arranged above a space t2 between an edge facing the downward opening 8 and the front side riser part 301, and an upper wall w3 of the console box can be illuminated thereby.
