PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure of a seat for a vehicle capable of preventing occurrence of obstacle in a lock mechanism of a seat recliner without increasing strength of a back frame and making the seat recliner solid. SOLUTION: This seat 1 for the vehicle is arranged in front of a load chamber 4 to connect a seat back 1A with a seat cushion 1B by the seat recliners 16, 17 so as to tilt forward and backward and lock the seat back 1A in a predetermined forward and backward tilting position. The back frame 7 of the seat back 1A is formed like a square frame, and an inner side frame 8 and an outer side frame 9 for attaching the seat recliners 16, 17 are fixed to an inner side part 7a on a tunnel side and an outer side part 7b on a door side of the back frame 7, respectively. A cut-out part 10 is formed in a part where a test load 5 put in the load chamber 4 collides first in the inner side part 7a on the tunnel side of the back frame 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
