PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vivid building composition by respectively mixing an inorganic coloring agent into a cement-based material and another component such as sand and further mixing each mixed/agitated component into one composition, to provide a coloring method with degradation suppressed, to simultaneously exclude things harmful for health such as a sick house syndrome, and to provide a building composition which releases negative ions useful for maintaining/improving health. SOLUTION: In the method for coloring the building composition, the inorganic coloring agent is mixed into sand, the mixture is agitated for a given time, the inorganic coloring agent is mixed similarly into a slaked lime-based material, and both agitated members are mixed and agitated for a given time.
