PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for a liquid crystal display element which can manufacture a liquid crystal display element hardly contaminating a liquid crystal and having a high definition less in color unevenness even in the case of being used as a sealing material for one drop fill technology in the manufacture of the liquid crystal display element by the one drop fill technology, to provide the sealing material for the one drop fill technology and a vertically conducting material composed of the curable composition, and to provide the liquid crystal display element using them. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for the liquid crystal display element contains a crystalline epoxy resin having the melting point of≥50°C, a (meth)acrylic resin, a heat curing agent and a photo-radical polymerization initiator.
