PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acoustic material with which the air hardly remains in an interface part between the acoustic material and a structure body when pasting the tabular acoustic material on the surface of the structure body; also to obtain a manufacturing method of the acoustic material with which the air hardly remains when splicing. SOLUTION: The acoustic material 1 is almost tabular and is to be spliced on the surface of the structure body via an adhesive, and grooves 21, 22 are provided on the adhesive surface 4 of the acoustic material. Moreover, the manufacturing method of such an acoustic material 1 is through injecting a resin composition, which is the molding raw material of the acoustic material, into a mold with projecting parts paired with the grooves, and hardening the resin composition in the mold.
