<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin printed board with built-in passive element having a stable resistance value of which an element capacity is matched with a design value to suppress cracking, and to provide a reliable resistive element of low cost and a multilayer printed wiring board incorporating the same therein. <P>SOLUTION: On a pair of first electrodes formed on an insulating layer, a second electrode which is smaller than the first electrode is provided at such position as not covering the inner end.
