<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical dust precipitation unit that can be flattened. <P>SOLUTION: The filter unit 2 is provided with a discharge needle 4 having a sharp end part 3 at at least one end installed orthogonally to wind direction, a grid grill 5 installed at the windward of the discharge needle 4 and a dust precipitation unit 7 installed at the leeward side of the discharge needle 4. To the counter electrode 6, the opening part 8 is installed at the shortest distance (a) from the sharp end part 3 of the discharge needle 4.
