<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely access both of a medical information system in a hospital and an external network from a bedside terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The bedside terminal device 11 is provided with: a key input part for inputting a password, and the like; and a display part, or the like, for displaying a TV program, and has an access function to the medical information system in the hospital, an access function to the Internet, a receiving function, or the like of a video signal of TV.
