PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame connecting method for a passenger conveyor for easily and shortly reproducing the condition of the passenger conveyor being assembled with good accuracy as in factory delivery, which has frame members to be connected to each other at an installation site. SOLUTION: The frame members assembled in a factory with good accuracy and divided into a plurality of parts for transportation or carriage in a building are connected and assembled to each other with bolts at the installation site. In the condition that the frame members are assembled in the factory with good accuracy, positioning reamer holes 20, 21 are previously formed in connection portions of the frame members and accurate reproduction positioning pins 22 are inserted and fastened into the positioning reamer holes at the installation site. After the diameters of the accurate reproduction positioning pins are increased to align the connection portions of the frame members to each other, portions other than the connection portions are fastened with fastening bolts.
