PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise absorbing device having less ventilation resistance and high cooling effect. SOLUTION: The noise absorbing device in an engine room has noise absorbing blades (13) which are vertically arranged parallel to each other. The pitch (P) between the noise absorbing blades (13) is irregular proportional to the width (W) of the noise absorbing blades (13). The width (W) of the noise absorbing blades (13) is successively changed to the round shape of a vehicle body in plan view, and the pitch (P) between the noise absorbing blades (13) is matched with the pitch (C) of vertical lattices (8) of an exterior grille (7) of the vehicle body.
