PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a magnetic disk capable of enhancing the uniformity of the magnetization reversal length of a signal on the whole surface of a magnetic disk, and improving tracking accuracy, a magnetic recording/reproducing device, and a method for manufacturing the magnetic recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: The method includes the step of forming the shape pattern of a ferromagnetic material corresponding to an information signal as a master information carrier, and recording the information signal corresponding to the shape pattern as magnetization signal in a magnetic disk. The shape pattern is provided for forming a plurality of segments 17a to 17b by recording the magnetization information so that a shortest magnetization reversal length is gradually increased according as the distance of a radial direction from the center of the magnetic disk is larger. As for two adjacent segments, among the magnetization reversal lengths of segments on a disk outer peripheral side, a shortest magnetization reversal length on a disk innermost peripheral side is smaller than the shortest magnetization reversal length of a disk outermost peripheral side.
