The capacitor module consists of a cylindrical pot (1) containing a capacitor element. This may be an electrochemical double- layer capacitor. The side of the pot (41) is made of aluminum and forms the negative pole of the capacitor module. Laser welds (6) connect the rim of the pot to a conductive connecting disk (6) with a terminal post with a screw thread (5).
