METHOD FOR PRODUCING CARBAMATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbamate, by which the carbamate can profitably be produced from an amine, an alcohol and carbon dioxide as raw materials in a high yield / a high selectivity without using a halogen compound.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the carbamate is characterized by reacting an amine, an alcohol and carbon dioxide in the presence of a catalyst comprising a combination of (i) a metal compound with (ii) a carbene compound.
