<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology allowing easy acquisition of traffic information such as last train information even under environment not allowing use of a cellphone. <P>SOLUTION: This traffic information system has a portable terminal, a ticket examination terminal and a traffic information server. The portable terminal has: a first storage means storing usable section information; and a second storage means storing the traffic information received from the ticket examination terminal. The ticket examination terminal has: a first reception means receiving the usable section information stored in the first storage means of the portable terminal; and an output means receiving the information stored in the second storage means of the portable terminal from the traffic information server, and outputting it to the portable terminal. The traffic information server has an output means obtaining the prescribed traffic information on the basis of the usable section information received from the portable terminal through the ticket examination terminal, and ticket examination terminal information of the ticket examination terminal received from the ticket examination terminal, and outputting the traffic information to the ticket examination terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
